Spotify and 3 Lock Down Mobile Deal

Music streaming service Spotify confirmed a deal this morning with UK mobile operator 3 in which the former’s subscription offer will be bundled with the latter’s new HTC Hero Android handset. Tech Digest says the deal costs 35 pounds ($57) per month over 24 months plus 99 pounds ($161) upfront for the Hero itself and includes unlimited text, 750 minutes of calls and unlimited internet usage. According to The Mirror, Spotify Premium bundled in means you can listen to your fave tunes without ads, too.
