NYMag.com offers a pretty nice breakdown of five Brooklyn bloggers who have served as music tastemakers in recent years. Among the more notable inclusions are Dave and his Brooklyn Vegan site,  a comprehensive, consistently updated destination about all things NYC events.

Other notable inclusions on the list are Robert Lanham’s FreeWilliamsburg.com, a site all about Brooklyn music that’s the brainchild of the author of the now-cult classic tome The Hipster Handbook. You can check out the rest along with mini Q+A’s and descriptions for each in the NYMag.com article, which proves that Silicon Alley is alive and well.
