Digital Music News has the skinny on some recent correspondence from telecom giant Verizon. Perhaps feeling a bit more emboldened by its big Droid launch, the company has sent notices to folks that might be labeled as music-infringing customers as a courtesy to major label partners represented by the RIAA. Verizon seems to be taking a somewhat hands-off approach as a third-party that’s just passing along warnings, but things seems a bit more stern than that.
