Spotify today rolled out a version of its app for the Amazon Kindle Fire tablet.
A Kindle Fire edition of the Spotify app is currently available as a free download via the Amazon Appstore.
For Premium users, the app provides access to all the Spotify content available on the desktop – streaming, playlists, social features, artist details, and more. That will set you back $9.99 a month.
For non-paying Spotify users, who must deal with intermittent ads, the app only includes free access to Internet radio stations, a feature that was added to iOS in June and Android last month. While listening to the radio, users can “like” songs and then find them in the “Liked from Radio” playlist the next time they access Spotify on a PC.
