This past July we sat down with Founder & CEO Kara Dake to discuss the evolution of Signalfy and talk about both the challenges and opportunities facing female entrepreneurs in EDM.
At that time, Dake had just finished up a successful trip to EDMbiz under the Skylight Grant, a program created by artist manager Stephanie LaFera and media professional Kerri Mason to “light a path to success for aspiring female entrepreneurs in electronic dance music.”
We’re now happy to report that Signalfy, the new go-to guide for discovering and promoting electronic music events, is debuting its iOS and Android apps in conjunction with SXSW’s inaugural V2V conference in Las Vegas.
“We are proud to be a part of SXSW’s V2V Conference and are very excited to open up our recently launched mobile apps to the capital of EDM (Electronic Dance Music) in the US – Vegas,” said Dake. “The Vegas EDM community has asked us to build an app that will cater to their on-the-go needs, for both the promoter as well as the event-seeker.”
The mobile apps launched today in Portland and Seattle, featuring EDM event listings, social networking, event push notifications, VIP services and DJ meet & greets. NYC is rumored to be next and we look forward to a go-to app for finding dance music events at EDMbiz next year.
