- Raised a round of financing from the same investors that backed and/or started Garageband.com, SongKick, Topspin, FanBridge, Compete.com, IntelliQuest, and TechStars;

Premier Unveiled
Described as a Bloomberg terminal for the entertainment industry or just plain amazing – Next Big Sound Premier has been developed and tested since the beginning of 2010 and is now ready for general release. For the first time ever professionals in the music industry can see social media data, traffic to an artists .com (Google Analytics integration), iTunes/sales data, radio numbers and P2P data all in one place. Combined with actionable recommendations and advanced geographic data the platform is presented in a way that decision makers in the industry can understand how best to use their resources.
Paying customers already include labels like the iconic Domino Records, Provident Label Group, television’s CMT, management firms like 4 Ohm, artist marketing companies like Sideways Media, Lotos Nile and many more.
The same product that is currently being piloted at every major label is now available to anyone.
“Anyone I’ve talked to who has seen Next Big Sound’s new Premier product has said it’s the most exciting new music industry app of the year.” -Ian Rogers, Topspin CEO
