New Low for Music aka Officer Roseland taken to another level

Last spring, I wrote an article on my blog about this from Philly called Officer Roseland who was paying people $1 to download their album (either paid to them personally or to a charity of their choice). It would have been a good idea if the music was actually any good, so they disappeared into obscurity with a lot less money than they had to begin with I would assume (note: if you guys are reading this, please tell me if you’ve taken out a second mortgage). However, I will give them creative points for adding a “chunk of wood” to their store.
Fast forward to now…there is a new low for music. UK pop duo The Reclusive Barclay Brothers are taking it a step further and having a “random” contest to win £25. Watch this video to find out more.
Is the music good enough for their publicity stunt to pay off and spread or will they fade away in obscurity as another failed attempt to buy people’s attention?
