So the mystery of the Picasso Baby invite/email has been solved… we followed the breadcrumbs and ended up at the Pace Gallery in NYC for the video shoot of Jay Z’s “Picasso Baby” off Magna Carta Holy Grail.
As we reported last week, Jay Z has proven to be a fan of unique and unexpected ways to engage fans. Today, he rewarded those who had participated in his scavenger hunt for the MCHG lyric books with an up close and personal experience.
The invitation was vague, keeping us all guessing as we were escorted from the 40/40 club to the Pace Gallery, not even beginning to imagine what was in store for us. The crowd was a mixture of fans, press, and celebrities (Wale was onsite snapping pictures and Taraji P. Henson even got a kiss).
